4890 teething problems?

I have just fitted a radeon 4890 into my 08 mac pro and whilst it is working fine display wise there are few little things that are not correct. For instance from time to time there will be little blue dots that flicker on the screen? Is this is a loose connection somewhere? Also the gpu fan is very sensitive so whenever I open browsers or search windows etc it will spin up rapidly then slow down again? The 4890 had already been flashed when I purchased it and the only thing I have downloaded has been a driver from netkas. Are there more drivers available elsewhere?

newer models have the fan spinning problem.

for dots, try reset monitor.might be loose cable or that signal needs resync.

you can edit fan behaviour with RBE in windows
