Hey everyone,

So I have a 5 day old macbook pro. When I close it (clamshell) and I look at the front of the macbook pro (where the button is located and the light sensor) the lid is uneven a bit. On the left side it closes fine, but the right side is up in the air a little bit. It appears that my screen is warped a bit or something. I know this is not a big deal but I need to go to the apple store in a couple days anyways and I was wondering if they would do anything about this? Thanks!

They won't lift a finger about that. I've complained about mine to them both over the phone and in the Apple Store, and it's always described as "normal".

Alright, thanks for the replies. It really doesn't bother me, I just wanted to make sure they wouldn't fix it. I figured they would not have anything to do with it. I still love the machine :)

Every metal-clad Apple notebook I've owned (all 4 of them) warped slightly at the top bezel, but not enough to make it completely noticeable.
