4G iPod 20GB Package Contents

I see there is much debate on the contents of the newly released iPod, so I figured I could help since I just received my iPod today.

1. Standard apple headphones
2. two sets of earplug covers - you know the black thingies..
3. 1 firewire cable - 6pin to dock connection
4. 1 USB cable to dock connection
5. 1 A/C adaptor that fits the standard plugs in Apple powerplug series
6. 1 20GB iPod 4G
7. NO protectors for the dock port on the bottom of the unit
8. NO remote
9. NO dock
10. NO carrying clip
11. NO 6pin->4pin firewire converter
12. NO music (as was available on the 1G models)
13. Scroolwheel is NOT backlit
14. Standard apple cd with iTunes and firmware upgrade 15-7-04
15. electronic user manual on cd

I ordered the unit from Apple Singapore on tuesday night at 10:22 pm andr received the unit today thursday at 1:56pm. Speedy service for Apple Singapore, but the shops do not have the unit in stock and many dont know when they will receive it here. Most estimate 2 weeks...
