Hello,i have a question
.if i buy a macbook air with 8gb card the intell hd graphucs 5000 will be ugbraded to more than 1gb?if yes how much??
 
Upgrading the ram will not cause the GPU to use more of the system ram, its set and will not be changed.

In some of the intigrated GPUs it does allow for more video memory if the system memory is increased. I'm not sure if this is true for the 5000 series.

The 4000 and earlier would bump VRAM with a memory upgrade, but the 5000 was fixed at 1GB. See this.

I think it can now go up to 1.5GB of RAM after the latest software update.

Yep... 10.9.3 update bumped it up to 1.5GB
