on my mbp (older one)

i got a 2.4 ghz and 2 gb ram. when i installed 4 gigs it started to lag to and i had more random issues that before. in fact i never used to have any issues of lagging with 2 gb ram. I have 10.5.6 and one of my friends said because i have a 32 bit.

Any other suggestions? Has this happened to anyone before? Is it really just cause i have 32 bit and when snow leopard comes out with 64 bit, i would be fine and 4 gb would run better?

thanks for the help

Test both sticks of RAM.
put your 1GBs back in and see if you still have the same problems.
Than put a 2GB sticks in one at a time (so you have 3GBs in your mac) and see if you still have the same problems.
