4gs upgrade from jailbrokenn 3gs - problem ?

hi

I currently have a jailbroken at&t 3gs - I just reserved a 4gs to pick up tomorrow at the apple store - I'm apparently to take my 3gs with me to upgrade - will it be an issue that it's jailbroken ?

for one to upgrade you shouldn't have to bring your old phone in that doesn't seem logical.

it does seem a bit much - here's the actual note from the apple site:

What to Bring with You
Your old mobile phone, if you’re replacing it.
Social Security number of the account holder.
Valid government-issued photo ID.
Carrier account password, if you have one.
Your Apple ID and password.
