Before I go down the black hole of troubleshooting does anyone have any pointers for this kinda issue? See the attached screenshot, it's the only screenshot I managed to get. It's happened a few times today, a restart puts it right but...I can provide more info but just wondered if this is enough to get an idea of what is up. It's a new one for me. Thanks in advance.

So it could be a 10.12.4 issue as some users are having a range if problems including graphic glitches (some have noted when using youtube etc). Diagnostics test found no issues and I have reset NVRAM. Not sure how to proceed. I can use Time Machine to go back to 10.12.3, or wait and see........
