4K monitor and mouse resolutions (Mac OS and Windows)

Hello, in case I buy a 4K monitor and connect it to a Mac running Mac OS/Windows, do I need to get a mouse with higher DPI? At what DPI do you recommend?

Be sure to get a 5K mouse, or better yet an 8K mouse to be ready for the future.
