4K SDR menu too bright?

So I switched my output settings to SDR because the hdr menu is too dull.

It looks crisper but is so bright it bothers my eyes. Anyone else have this conundrum?

Manufacturer and model of TV?

Most HDR TV's have separate profiles for HDR and SDR on the same output so you can calibrate them independently. This is a feature that can be implemented via a firmware update. So if its not supported make sure your TVs firmware is up to date.
