Hi
Bit of an odd question.
I have a 2014 Mac Mini conncted to my TV in the living room. I use a wireless keyboard and mouse to control it.
I recently upgraded my 720p TV to a 4K TV and am having problems using the OS sitting on the sofa from a distance. The UI is just too small to use without using the zoom feature which isn't ideal.
I can run the TV at its native resolution of 2160p and then select a scaled resolution (i.e. 1280x720) but the Mini can only output 4K resolutions at 30hz, which is not suitable.
What I would like to do is run the resolution at 1080p (1920x1080) but at a scaled resolution of 720p (1280x720); that way I can run at 60hz and have a scaled resolution that is easier to see from the sofa.
Anyone know whether this is possible and if so, how it is done?. Thank you.
