god sounds like algebra..

so i have a 4s.. and a friend has a samsung GS2.. he has an indicator for H+.. I know we dont..

so we can sit by side and his H+ indicator lights up..

mine just shows the usual 3G..

am i getting H+ too?

More than likely, yes.

Why don't you both do a speedtest and compare results? The FCC mobile broadband speed test app is one. Speedtest.net has an app as well.

Those are pretty comparable.

I'd say you're getting the H+ speeds with your 4S.

That's about what I'm getting with my 4S and it's 25 to 50 per cent faster than my iPhone 4 was.......

yea i noticed 4s is faster than my 4 as well.. people are bragging about how 4s is "inferior" or.. the SGS2 is better etc..

Are the AT&T phones still getting the "4G" indicator in a future software update? AT&T speeds blow away Sprint and Verizon. I saw a video of Verizon getting like .9 mbps and a Sprint user told me he averages 1 mbps. I average about 4.5-5 mbps on AT&T.
 
You're using H+ also, just the iphone 4S doesnt have an indicator for it.
There was talks that AT&T was trying to add it with a future firmware or carrier update but not sure if or when its going to happen.

its gonna come down to the processor.. hmm..oh and that STUPID small screen aartrrghh
