For those of you using the 4S and still experiencing battery problems, I am wondering how many of you restored from a backup of your 4 and how many set it up as a new phone. Last night I tried setting mine up as a new phone and it definitely seems as if the battery is better. Right now I have 9 Hours, 35 minutes of stand by time and 1 Hour, 7 Minutes of Usage.

If you have not done so already and are still having battery problems, definitely try this because it seems to have improved my battery.

I first restored from a previous one, but my iWork sync in iCloud wouldn't work, so then I restored and set it up as new. Never noticed much of a difference with the battery though. But interesting observation.

When you restored it as a new phone, how did you get all your data and apps back? New phone and then restore from an old backup?
I just tried that...but I'm thinking thats the same as a restore right away.

That does the same thing. You just have to resync them to setup as new.

Siri just drains battery power badly... just played with her for about an hour... she really turns "HOT" and battery level drops to around 30%....
