4S- Changed phone number, old number still shows up in messages

Hi everyone,

I'm with the carrier Bell in Canada. Just changed my phone number and when I text people with iPhones my number switches back and forth between the new and old numbers. Sometimes my messages go through imessage, other times it reverts to text messages. However when I text people with any other type of phone only my new number shows up. Regardless of the type of phone when I call the new number shows up. I've tried resetting the network and turning imessage off and back on but nothing has work as of yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sure sounds like a carrier or account provisioning issue to me. As stated, call your carrier.

Look and see if the old number is still associated with your iMessage settings.

To me this issue sounds more like an Apple problem then an issue with your carrier. It sounds like only iMessages are using your old number. I would recommend disabling iMessage and then turning it back on.
