4s freezes

have a 4s.. bought new on release day direct from apple.com
running 5.0.1 and latest version of iTunes.

problem: when i take or trash a pic (on phone) it freezes for a good 30 to 40 seconds.. thought this was normal so never said anything but its getting out of hand.. it takes the pic normally but immediately after that it freezes..

questions: does yours do that? how many pix on yur phone? would that have anything to do with it? how do i get pix off the phone? (some pix are only on the phone..) i have about 2,000 pix..is this worth going to genus bar?

Nope not having any issues when deleting pics

It could be the 2000 pix you have.

Use either aperture or iphone and take the photos you don't need to have on your phone off and delete them.

Much as these smartphones are as powerful as pentiums where back in the 90s they are still lower powered (in both battery use and computation power) devices.
