4S GPS/ location services

When I used Mapquest on my iPhone 4 it worked very well. On my 4S it has to recalculate route often and is a lot slower giving directions.

Is it the app or the 4S GPS/location services?

First off, I've NEVER had a good experience with mapquest. But, it's very possible that the mapquest folks haven't optimized their app for the 4S yet.
