I got my 4S for christmas and I originally had a fairly mushy home button. Over time it's developed a small click sound when pressed, louder when pressed in the middle. Does anyone elses 4S make a click sound when the home button is pressed? This is especially noticeable when double pressing it quickly for multi-tasking.

It's perfectly responsive and I know I'm very nit-picky, but I'm just wondering if this is normal. Thanks!

A click is normal.

My 4S clicks. My original and 3GS didn't. I prefer a click, that way I know it should click and I'm not wondering why it doesn't and is it broken lol.

But isn't everyone saying that their 4S is mushy, not clicky?

If the home button is "mushy" that probably means there is dirt or debri stuck under it which would probably, eventually break the home button. If your home button has a good clicky feeling it would probably be relatively clear of dust and is therefore better then a "mushy" one.

My 4S clicks. This is not a an abrupt click. The noise is more of a soft click, but a click nonetheless.
