I have a strange observation with my new 4S (in white).

The home button, seems to have a faint but perceivable ring around the middle of it. Like a water mark almost. It's hard to see fully it just looks like a shadow but I noticed it while applying my screen protector.

Anyone else noticed anything like this? Is it normal? Or do I just have a handset with some slight manufacturing defect? I have never owned a white iPhone4 so no clue.

Try looking at it in different angles of light and/or go outside.

People have commented on the earpiece shadow looking weird too.

It's just because the button and glass are clear with a white backing, not molded in white. So you see shadows inside the glass.
