4S in Europe

I am on Verizon. So when I go to Europe what will I need to do to use the phone. I assume there is no place for a sim card on the new phone..Thanks...GR

Of course there's gonna be a place for a sim on the 4S

The 4S does have a SIM slot.

As others have said, pop in a microSIM and you'll be good to go.

I was wondering this as well, I'm getting a Verizon 4S soon and next semester I am going to Italy and Spain, would I just have to get a sim to put in it? Or would Verizon have a plan/sim/I dont know, something for me?

The 4S has a sim, because there is one phone for three carriers (in the us). Even though the Verizon phone doesn't need it, it is there.
