Lot of talk earlier about Twitter intergatation in 4S and ios5 and nothing said lately....did it happen?.....

Yes. iOS 5 features twitter integrated right in.

It uses the already available official Twitter app, you can get it from the appstore. if you don't already have it when you install iOS5, there will be an option to install it from the twitter entry in the phone's general settings
