So this is my second time experiencing this one....My 4S will get down to 5% or so. I plug it in to charge and the phone instantly dies. Not like when the battery goes dead and you get the spinning wheel, it just totally dies. It doesn't come back on after being plugged in like a dead battery normally would so I have to manually turn it on. But when I do it shows that it's December 31st at 6:00pm and the battery is 100%. As soon as I unplug it to go hook up to iTunes it dies instantly. I then plug into iTunes and the only way to get it recognized is to put then phone in restore mode. I do that, iTunes says it has to restore, I start that, and then it crashes. Phone won't restore. Last time I had to go to the Apple store to get it fixed. Has anyone else had this happen and do you know a solution?
