4s - No sound when recording video or on speaker phone.

New white iPhone 4s. There is no sound when I record video, just a slight crackle .... and when on speakerphone I can hear the caller but they can't hear me.

I guess this is a hardware issue and requires an exchange?

If I take it into the Apple Store (London), do they hold stock for a replacements or will I have to wait for new stock to arrive like everyone else?

I have the same issues (64gb 4S, black).. guess it must be some defect in the secondary mic for noise reduction..

really hate DOA's!!! you wait, you suffer (backup only worked for apps, nothing else) and you wait again with a SIM card that does not fit your old phone... **** YOU APPLE!!! where is your QC??? you could actually test every ****ing iphone before releasing it!
