4s not connecting via usb or charging through the mains.

Basically out of the blue my dad's iPhone 4s is not connecting to anything. This is including to any PC/Mac. Also not charging via the mains power supply.

Putting it in to DFU has not helped either. Tried multiple cables and chargers also. It is running 5.0.1 since yesterday.

Could anyone please give me some advice? Because I am very stuck

If you've tried these many solutions and had no luck, including rebooting the phone and computers, you should probably call Apple.
