4S Os6 update lost apps and photos

I had held off updating my iPhone 4S OS, afraid it would screw up something. And sure enough, I have lost some photo albums and most of my app icons are gone. Pages of apps gone.
How do I get them all back?

Correction. I just found the apps. The update and moved them around and put some empty pages in front on them. I dug deep and found them.

And my Photo Stream album is still gone, but I assume they intended that, putting it in a different place.

So, things appear ok now.
