4S Phone call issue

Hi all,
My wife is having a call issue on her new 4S.
It seems every few calls, the first 10 or so seconds of the call has no audio.
I tested it thoroughly. The call connects, but the other side can't here or hears sporadic pieces and she can't hear the caller for the first 10 seconds.
Anyone see this issue?

I rebooted and nothing..

Ideas or suggestions?
