Do I need to replace my AT&T SIM Card in order to get faster 3G Speeds?

No source needed - I had 4 and all I did was take my microsim out and put it in my 4s and everything works great. I am experiencing the higher data rates which just has to do with the radio chipset, and not your SIM

OK, but I'm hoping that someone can confirm this ....

To get the faster speeds you need to be connected to a Tower that has been upgraded to HSPA+. Nothing to do with the SIM card.

Anyone know if I can sell my old iPhone 4 with a SIM that I got as a replacement in a brand new iPhone 4 that I never used?

Actually they are not the same, each has an individual ICCID but they all are equal. There is no magic iPhone 4S Micro-SIM.

There is no specific part number for different types or speeds. It has been the same urban myth since the original iPhone. Apple and AT&T claimed the you needed to use the Mini-SIM that came with the iPhone for better speed or performance. This is just not TRUE!

Your speed is determined by many factors and the Micro-SIM is not one of them!

If you want a source, go to AT&T and ask for an iPhone 4S Micro-SIM and an iPhone 4 Micro-SIM, you will get the next 2 Micro-SIMs from the stack.:D
