I know it was discussed buy I cannot find it using search.

What is the estimated video size for a video filmed with the 4s

I ordered the 32 but am thinking about trying to exchange it for the 64 on the 14th.

I don't plan on much video, more pictures of the kids and a few movies, and about 7gb total between music and apps.

And to be honest I would of been fine if 32 was the biggest offered...

Thanks,

K

Search harder?

It records at 1080p now...

I went 64 for this exact reason. Can't help with your question but it is 1080P now! ;)

Kinda answering my own question now.

Based on the balloon video that apple put out its about 25mb per 30 sec. Which comes out to 3gb per 1hr.

Of course this only applies if the video by apple has not been edited in any way.

And photos seem to average 1-3mb so that leaves plenty of room for them.

If these numbers are correct then I should be fine. Most videos that I would take would be a few minutes or seconds here of there of the kids, and then transfer them to my computer.

Who knows. I guess I will just get it and play with it and see, after all I believe I have 30 days to exchange....

Like I said if 64 was not an option I would not even be considering it.

Thanks,

K

76 MB for one minute video recording on iPhone 4. So iphone 4s video which is a higher quality should take up little more. Estimated 100MB.

Thanks based on that estimate I might be OK then. I wonder if apple edited the video to post it?
