4s won't upload videos to mac anymore (ImageCaptureCore error 28)

This is driving me crazy! I shoot videos often for my business and I never have issues uploading my videos to my mac via preview until last month. I thought it was a fluke but I recorded a video today and it will not upload.

I keep getting this error:

ImageCaptureCore error 28


I don't know what else to do and I'm frustrated.

I restarted my iphone, I restarted my mac, I force quit image capture in the activity monitor, I've done everything I can think of and read after doing some research online, but nothing is working!

Has this happened to anyone else and how did you fix it? Pleaseeee help!
