The new drive is fast and has a huge storage space. Overall i am very happy with the drive in all areas ( much more space than SSD and more speed than a standard spinning drive ) the only issue is BOOTCAMP is not compatible with SSHD ( HYBRID ) drives and YES i have tried all the tricks including booting snow leopard , mountain lion and mavericks as the versions of disk utility are different and no matter how messed up the partition table got only SNOW LEOPARDS version could get it back again ! I also tried limiting the drive to the first 4 partitions and under 2 tb but nothing works … the drive would work in windows after spending days trying to format it it the right way and then upon booting mac osx again the entire partition table would just die and obviously mac osx and windows were unable to boot ! then only SNOW LEOPARD'S DISK UTILITY could partition and format the drive and allow me to reinstall mac osx again !
