Hi everyone,

I have a 4th gen AppleTV, I've had it for several years, never any problems. Yesterday I noticed the white light on the front was blinking in a strange pattern, it was like on-off-on-off-on-off-blink-pause then back to the start. It does that for hours at a time.

When I turn on the TV, the white Apple icon shows up for about a second, then black screen, then back to the white Apple icon. The pattern repeats itself.

I've tried holding the menu and home button for 10-15 seconds. Nothing happens. I've tried plugging into iTunes. I bought a USBC to USB cable and plugged it into iTunes on my mac. When it's plugged into iTunes, the blinking on the front is very consistent (on-off-on-off-on, one second on each). When unplugged from the computer, it's the blink-pause from above.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Is there such a thing as a hard reset? Any other advice?

Thanks in advance!
