is this a part from the logic board OR videocard ?

both had been changed a few month ago ..

Are you sure it's VDC or YDC?

Edit: If you are half way down they also mention V for Voltage and D for DC but it's for SNS which are the sensors.

If it's the GPU then I am pretty sure you can't do much about it except getting a new Logic Board, AFAIK iMacs have their GPU's soldered onto the Logic Board.

Which Model iMac do you have, Model Identifier?

The GPU is not located on the Logic board, it's a separate card as you can see in the following link:
