5.0.1 OTA Update Question?

I chose to download the 800+MB 5.0.1 update through itunes, because I am just used to it...but I noticed that it did update the firmware...do they update the firmware on the OTA update?

Expand your horizons.. And be conservative of your bandwidth. 800Megabyte file versus 45Megabyte file.

Yes just updated my phone.

I wanted to make sure I got the firmware update that usually is accompanied with updates, and have had bad experiences with patching.
