Hi,
I'm currently writing this from my 2010 Mac Pro (5,1, dual 3.33gHz, 65gb ram). Using a MacVidCards flashed 2GB 770GTX.
However, weird and concerning issue this morn – I booted into OSX and about ¾'s the way through, as soon as it got past EFI (this card displays EFI), and loads the graphics driver, it got all glitchy – bars on screen, couldn't see what was going on at all. Mainly black.
I run Windows on this as well, and no issues with booting there at all. Displays fine. So an OSX graphics driver issue? This has been working fine since I built up the machine 4 or so months ago.
I plugged from the DVI-D output on the card to my monitor, and it booted fine (although the resolution is messed up until I unplug and replug in the monitor - although this was a weird issue from before also), and looks fine. Nothing of concern, detects the card fine, etc, computer is now running... however I'm apprehensive to shut it down in case it's something I need to get sorted out before next boot. I've tried reinstalling the driver - and haven't attempted a restart yet.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
