5.1 surround from PowerMac G5

I have a fairly decent set of Logitech 5.1 speakers. They only have analog inputs, and I don't have surround analog outputs on my G5. I came across this:

Its got the outputs, but has anyone actually had experience with this card? The only thing I really want is full 5.1 surround from DVDs played on my G5. Will I get that with this card? Thanks.
