I have a mid 2010 5,1 Running 10.9.5 but recently I have started experiencing the dreaded sleep bug where my computer refuses to wake up after going into hibernation/sleep mode. I know this has been an ongoing problem for years with a lot of years but my question is, is there finally a solution? or am I just going to have to turn off hibernation?

My 4,1 would not wake from sleep whether Mavericks, El Capitan. Upgraded firmware to 5,1 no change even with Sierra. I removed the wifi card and now it wakes from sleep properly. Also no more mouse double clicking on single click.
