Still find it interesting storage is mentioned for every model, but RAM is only mentioned on the models with an unusually high amount.

Maybe it’s just complaining at this point, and everyone knows that all Macs come with 8GB unless otherwise specified.

Sad if true. Maybe next year.

Still, the best no-brainer MBP deal is the 16" M1 Max 64GB/4TB from B&H for $2799 - insane deal considering Apple sells refurbished versions for close to $3700....

If you don't need ray tracing and a couple of other things, that M1 Max still kicks butt!

Most of Apples target audience that go in an Apple Store.... don't really care so much about RAM... as long as it works. Those that need more than 8 GB... will surely know about it, and spec their purchase appropriately. I think it's a bit of a non issue, for the most part.

I just tend to target my purchases with regards to RAM updates on the iPhones and iPads.. as typically those ones end up being supported and performing better for longer. I tend not to worry on Macs... given my relatively light use case.

Very good price for the base 15" Air. Also good to have discounts for 16" MacBook Pro

Too bad that 16GB 15" Airs are almost nowhere to be found. Great deals on the base models for sure.

Glad I got my 16GB/512GB 15" Air from Best Buy a couple of weeks ago. Same price as it is today. Got it in a couple of days.

If I was in the market for a new MacBook Pro the 16" MacBook Pro M1 with 64GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD for $2499 from B&H Photo would be tempting, but I really don't need a MacBook right now, the iPad mini I do need isn't out yet, and I think I can make my iPhone last for another year. It also doesn't seem like a year to spend money unless one has to.
