Here's the situation: My desk is crowded with external drives. In addition to the internal drive in my iMac, which has Snow Leopard on it, I have FOUR externals connected: One for storage, one for Time Machine, one for Leopard, and one for transferring data between the others and the Windows 7 partition on my internal drive that I just created today. In addition to that, I have a VirtualBox disk on the storage drive for an Ubuntu 10.04LTS installation. What's the best way to make sense of all this mess, and reduce the number of drives I need? I figure that, at best, I can reduce the drive count from 5 to 3 - the reason being that I cannot have a drive that is both MBR and GPT at the same time.
