Suddenly, my G5 Quad is completely goofy. When I type, for instance, the word "Cat" I get "Djy" on the screen. Only a couple keys actually correspond to what is on the screen correctly. I Swapped out the keyboard with a brand new one....same problem. I have checked to make sure language is correct in System Preferences. I have run Disk Utility. No change. I am stumped, not to mention dead in the water.
I will paypal first successful work-around/ fix 50 bucks.

Apparently "cat" in qwerty is mapped to "jay" in Dvorak.

Anywho, the settings for keyboard layout can be found in System Preferences > Language & Text > Input sources, just make sure nothing odd is selected when it shouldn't be.
