Not long ago, but not immediately after updating to iTunes 4.9, problems started. The music store loads with broken links where album covers should be, previews look like they're about to play but don't start and, worst of all, I can't download songs I've bought. iTunes shows that it is downloading song number 1 of whatever number and then the different song names show up, without the number changing, which ends with a -50 error message and advice to try again later. After about 10 tries I'm looking for other help. Any advice?

Okay lets see... simple search... assuming you have Windows...

This
Or this

Of course, it might not be those; it could be just a problem with the iTunes Music Store.

EDIT::: Or, it just might be an album or song (especially a free one) that isn't available anymore.

problem solved, thanks everyone

Thanks for the help. I found the answer in the apple support documents, even though I am using a Mac.
