500+ apps installed on my iPhone

Not sure, I've never heard of a limit to installed apps, only a limit to how many you can see.
Just curious, do you notice any performance issues with that many apps installed?

No performance issues here. Games runs natively just as if no 3rd party app was installed. I did a fresh install when 3.1.2 was released and i tested this by installing just one app and it was NFSU... everything was normal... then i installed my 500+ apps and there is no absolute difference... it seams like the game runs natively or some sort.

Apple did a good job for designing the OS to run one app at a time without affecting the storage and memory.

Dude, that's mad apps. I don't feel so bad at 147 on my Mac, maybe about 20 on my iPhone. And I liked that Aardvark thing at first and then it just got silly!

I have alot, but I only use some. Not all of them are installed on the iphone either. Just can't resist downloading free apps.
It's also a good "strategy"? Cause then if they ever start charging for the app you'll still have it

thats not 500+, it shows 473..
plus all 9 full pages wont display that many apps.
9 pages x 16 apps/page + 4 dock apps - 14 default apps = 134 apps.
and even if you have 11 pages:
11 pages x 16apps/page + 4 dock apps - 14 default apps = 166 apps.
why dont you take a screen shot of your home page. i think you're jailbroken.

Its called spotlight Mr. Mathematician. You can have all the apps you want as long as you have space in the memory of the phone. However, after the last page you must search for the app via Spotlight. Its still on your phone, just not visible.
I thought I would just get a few apps. you know, weather, like that. Then I saw that Kazam one that listens to a snippet of music and identifies it for you. Then google that you just tell what you want.

I got ride of a few but currently am at 2 and a half pages. Until I see that next app I gotta have of course!

Haha, yeah, Kazam is probably what he meant. The Kazam app is definitely sweet!

OP, you have memorized your 307 other (hidden) apps? Wow.
Probably the ones he know's he'll use. Also, you only need a simple keyword for search, or even just the letter the app starts with. If he really needs them, he'd remember good key words.
I wouldnt need that many apps, but some people do, I guess.
