500Gb 7200rpm anytime soon?

My warranty Runs out in July, and thats when im going to do a strip, clean up, replace the case, etc. And wanted to install a 500Gb Hdd, are any companies known to be making 7200rpm 500Gb Drives? I think i saw Seagate where, but im not 100% Sure.

There is currently a 500GB 5400 on the market atm. Read on hear that the 7200 are coming Feb some time! Hope that helps a little!

many vendors are already listing the 7200 500GB drive from SeaGate, although none seem to be ready to ship yet. Most are saying some time in Feb now, although it's been pushed back again and again, originally I think they were saying december. Either way, it's a safe bet that it'll be out by July. Keep an eye on this thread:

I Want to make sure i get the 7200rpm to try and squeeze every little peice of performance i can, and im currently on a 5400rpm drive.
