Zero feedback. Claims 500 gb hdd and 15" for an Air? Steer clear my friend. Neither exist as options for the Air. How large of a hdd can you get with those 1.8" drives?

250GB is the largest available but that uses different interface than MBA plus it's physical size is bigger than MBA's drive. I think 120GB is the biggest HD available for MBA (though there are bigger SSDs, 128GB atm), 2 x 120GB = 240GB, not even near 500GB

I'm tormenting the seller... I know it is a scam or they are very very dumb.

The no local pick up thing is what tipped me off that they are scamming.

But it could be just inexperience on eBay. We'll see if they write back.

no one could be that dumb.....even in the picture it shows its 12.8" long...god what a tool that seller must be.

Seller just wrote me back...

Said "they had bad luck with local pick ups before"

Said I'd have the machine "in four days with free shipping"...

I wrote them again and said "Let's meet at the Apple store at the Grove."

They said its a 128gb drive with an "extra external hard drive"...

No other info.

Right.

They changed the ad to say that a "300 gb external drive included"

You guys ever hear of a 300gigabyte drive? The last time i heard that number was on a 3.5" PATA drive. Do they even make 300gb SATA laptop or desktop drives?

Yup, there are 300 GB HDDs. Mostly on desktops and they're usually 10,000 RPM or higher with a SATA interface.
