OK, maybe it is not possible or maybe I am too stupid to find it anywhere...

All I want to do is get the current CPU temperature in Terminal.

I would guess, this is possible but I can only find solutions for PPC Macs.
Unfortunately (in this case) I have a rather new MacBook with an Intel processor.
I do not want a widget or app, I would like to have the temperature on my desktop via GeekTool.

Thank you very much.
Even a "not possible" would help me because I spent quite some time looking for a script or something online...
