It's 00.56 here in Frankfurt, July 1st. On my way back from my sister's wedding in north Italy near lake Como/Maggiore/Varese. The weather was amazing, but the next day a much needed storm brewed. Here's a picture of the heavens opening over a church on one of Roman Catholicism's pilgrimage routes... (Sacro Monte)

Taken this afternoon...

Three handheld RAWs // HDR // Shutter: varied // Aperture: f/7.1 // Focal Length: 17 mm // ISO 200

...as some of you know, I really dig street furniture like traffic lights and lamp posts... it's a fixation.

Valdore, your photos are magnificent, but I'd give anything to see the non-HDR versions, I'm only starting out with HDR but I'm already bored with it. C'mon, ditch the HDR and show us Valdore in his purest, unaltered form :)

Let me be the first to say on this thread that the level of talent here is ridiculous.

This looks like a great location, but, IMO, it needs some light. The sun is disappearing behind the trees. It would be great to go back at different times of the day, and see how the mill would look under different lighting conditions...

Farmhouse in Langdale today: maybe too much light...

I did shoot earlier in the day but the way the sun was after 12PM gave a lot of lens flare so I took some as the sun was going down, they came out better.

Well, I guess I have to live with The Curse of the Cat Owners ;) (see June for newbies)

I made this shot yesterday and yes the sky is blue and dull, let's see if before departure it will change. I love these trees.

All those photos from surf4real and the others .... sun, shorts, blond hair ... I just had to throw in a dose of Northern California reality. Thick wetsuits, booties, cold dark water ....

real men don't surf in Florida ....

Interesting, nice....but gosh you're in Ireland. I want to see GREEN! Ok, I'm a bit biased I guess. Was coming back from a year in Egypt and stopped in Ireland on the way back.....green green and more green! I was hungry and thirsty for green after a year of brown (sand) blue (sky) and well gorgeous blue (Red Sea). I always think of Ireland as luscious green and can't get enough.

Cheers
