Things sent to me accounts were being forwarded to .mac ones but the servers are actually up and you can truly send and receive from the me account.

Read the blog I linked and it shows you how to set it so you can access the me mail servers.

No, it's just the @me.com mail. The rest is server-based, and will be operational with the Mobile Me upgrade from dot Mac NLT the 11th.

I just followed those instructions... didn't work for me.

The dot Mac and Me mail are both independently operative, but are mirrors of each other. Just replace the "Mac" with "Me" in the Account Setup and you'll have exactly what dot Mac does.

Yep it works, I just sent myself an email from Yahoo to myname@me.com and it worked got it in seconds on my desktop. Did anybody check the site me.com?

Yep just checked and still the marketing site redirect. But i did get the email from me.com. Cool
