i can only find the upgraded version for the new system that i dont have the money to buy right now.

Yes, you can find older versions of firefox here: Older Firefoxes

I think that 2.0.0.14 should work with your version of Mac OS X. Just select 2.0.0.14 then select "mac" and then select "en-US/ "

And download the dmg. Hope I helped. :)

It's difficult. In Most places you can download 2.0.0.14 for Windows but not for MAc. It has dissapeared. Search for 2.0.0.20 for 10.3.9. I found it in the second GOOGLE search page after I queried "firefox for 10.3.9", but lost track of it.

http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0.0.20/mac/uk/

This is one place it may download from. Not th eone I used, sorry.

Can't get Firefox to open

Hi,

I have Panther.
I downloaded a firefox 3.0 and it wouldn't open.
Then I downloaded firefox 2.0 and the icon won't move into the applications folder.

What am I doing wrong?

Paul

Paul, open the Applications folder in finder, then drag the Firefox 2.0.0.20 icon into it. I had the same problem & this worked for me.
