I was just wondering, can anyone tell me why the iPhone camera asks me my location every time I use it? Does it have some feature in iPhoto or anything like that?

And is there any way to possibly turn it off, as it is really annoying and slows down the whole point and shoot process.

Thanks

Search?

It's Geotagging. Go in your settings and turn off location services. If you use GPS or an App that uses GPS it's going to turn it on again, and when you take a picture it will give you that option again.

It basically saves the coordinates for each picture you take.
