Got this vista brochure in the mail last week looked throgh the pages and saw what appears to be a macbook pro?

Your thoughts?

lol!

that is too perfect. Lazy use of stock photography. The person responsible has already been fired.

They actually do, i cant remember where i read it but a mac machine ran windows faster than any other apparently

The first pic, are you sure thats a Mac? Can't tell myself. Metal casing could be several other PC's.

look near the test, like near the bottom.. you can make out the arrows. The same arrows matching the macbook pro

Macs are big hits these days and don't forget Microsoft sells the OS, they don't care who installs them.

.Chris, if you can see that, your eyes are better than mine. :(

I had to make it a bit bigger so people can see it. Other wise you would have a huge peace of black from the scanner. The real image on the real page is much more easier to see..

But the keys are just like the MBP. you just got to look more closely.

What does MS care? They're not in competition with each other in laptop sales. A Mac is a legitimate place that Vista can be installed.

Did anyone say that Microsoft cared? I don't think so. I just posted this, not to start anything but to have a discussion

Whoops. Posted in wrong thread. Please delete this, as I can't find the delete button. (is there one?)

And yes, that does look like a Macbook Pro.

this is nothing to do with vista on a mac - this is just a terrible use of stock photography.
