Currently I have a macbook pro with a 7200 rpm drive in it, However I just ordered a 30 GB vertex sad and an optibay. I am wondering if you think I should stick with using the 7200 and the ssd, or if I should start using my 5400 rpm again not that I have the sad for programs and the OS

Both drive's are 500 GB

One is a senate 500 gb 5400, the other is a WD Black 7200

you should keep using your 7200 rpm in the optibay or vice versa.
and maybe buy an external case for your 5400rpm drive.
