5400 vs. 7200 RPM's

What do you think is best for a MBP 13"? Is it true that 7200 rpm's are louder use more battery and make more heat or is it not noticeable?

I'd say depending on what kind of user you are depends on if you notice it, but I believe all of the things that are mentioned are true statements, it does do all that. The 13-inch in particular has been plagued with problems, although the 17 has the wonderful clicking.

I tried a MBP 15-inch at a local reseller with a 5400 and 7200 RPM HDD - I wanted to see the MBP with the 7200 RPM to be faster but honestly they were both identical. Not worth the extra money going to 7200 RPM
