All I can express is they paid Jerry $10 million do to this (and what may follow).
Baaad way to start a campaign - it's not memorable, it doesn't grab the eyes, doesn't hook the viewer, doesn't appeal to the broad spectrum, common PC-users that are M$'s base customers, etc etc.
I'm pretty sure Microsoft's add was a miss, and not the close kind of miss, like the miss where you aim at an apple and shoot yourself in the foot instead. Seriously, Bill Gates shoe shopping... why should that make me want to buy Windows Vista?
